Our season begins on May 1 and continues until the end of October. We offer 5 months of exciting kayaking tours and day adventures, guided hikes, whales, icebergs and more. With over 40 years of providing fun, safe and exhilirating experiences, Stan Cook Sea Kayak Adventures is proud of its perfect safety record.
On rare occasions, we experience high winds or uncooperative water conditions. Because safety is our number one priority, trips are scheduled weather permitting.
Day Adventures
Our tours are offered from Cape Broyle and around the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve. They are fully guided, and including snacks and all necessary equipment.
We have morning and afternoon departures of our 2 hour and 3.5 hour tours. All of our adventures offer multiple opportunities to enjoy cascading waterfalls and spectacular caves. Whales and icebergs are plentiful when in season. All adventures are suitable for novice paddlers.
Because our guests have been so enthralled by their time spent among the whales and icebergs we created our Go & Tow
adventures. These tours offer our paddlers the opportunity to maximize their
time on the water with the ride back via motorboat. These adventures are
both 2 hour ($99) and 3.5 hour ($149).
The Coastal Combo ($339) is the premier
package we offer. It combines coastal kayaking with an afternoon hike along rarely used sections of the East Coast Trail. This adventure highlights incredible waterline experiences with cliff-side views from hundreds of feet above. Lunch is included in this full-day, fully guided Coastal Combo.

East Coast Trail Hikes
If you love coastal hiking but hate the crowds this adventure is for you. We traverse from village to village snuggled around spectacular coastlines. Snacks are served atop a 250 foot sea stack meadow. Thousands of puffins and other seabirds glide effortlessly around you, diving into the deep blue in search of food. Thousand year old icebergs drift by. Humpback whales are plentiful in these feeding grounds. The half day hike cost is $69 and the full day hike, which includes a picnic lunch, is $109.
